LambEx26 Registrations Open
February 4, 2026

Registrations are now open for Australia’s flagship sheep, lamb and wool conference, LambEx26, to be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre from 8–10 July 2026.

LambEx26 is expected to attract more than 2,000 producers, processors, academics, advisors, students and industry leaders from across Australia, New Zealand and overseas, reinforcing its position as the premier forum for the red meat and wool sectors.

The 2026 theme, Telling Our Stories, reflects an industry navigating rapid technological change, evolving markets and deeper connections with consumers, while ensuring producers remain central to the conversation.

LambEx Taskforce Chair Jamie Heinrich said the program has been designed with a strong focus on real-world relevance and practical insight.

“LambEx26 brings together people who understand the realities of working across the sheep, lamb and wool supply chain, while also weaving in speakers who provide new ideas, fresh perspectives and a different way of thinking about the future," Mr Heinrich said.

"The event is also about connection - bringing people together to learn from one another, build networks and takeaway insights that open new opportunities within their businesses."

A program snapshot is available now, with further high-profile speakers, industry and leadership breakfasts, innovation showcases and other popular events to be announced in the coming months.

In keeping with tradition, LambEx26 will again feature the AMPC Carcase Showcase, the Coles Trailblazers Program, and the Elders Grandslamb Gala Dinner.

The conference will extend beyond the Adelaide Convention Centre on Friday 10 July, with the introduction of LambEx On Tour — a new initiative offering seven curated tours showcasing South Australian innovation, production systems, supply chain leadership, regional stories, culture, flavour and craftsmanship.

Confirmed speakers include:

Mick Fanning, Australian surfing champion and global sporting icon, speaking on high performance under pressure

Gus Balbontin, leading futurist and business thinker, challenging delegates to view the future through a different lens

Julia Jones, respected New Zealand agribusiness analyst, sharing unfiltered insights and a global perspective on agriculture
