Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a critical leadership role across day-to-day operations, people management, safety, quality, and efficiency. This is a senior, highly visible, on-the-floor role, particularly during peak season.

About the Role
You'll lead pack shed operations, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining strong safety, quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support pack shed teams to maintain production flow and minimise downtime
- Drive continuous improvement across productivity, labour efficiency and quality
- Partner closely with maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
- Oversee scheduling, workflow and operational planning
- Manage seasonal and long-term labour planning
- Partner with QA to build ownership, accountability and pride in product standards across the operations.
- Ensure compliance with SEDEX, Freshcare, HARPS and KCT Protocol standards
- Champion WHS best practice and a proactive safety culture
- Support the executive team with operational problem-solving during peak periods
About You
- Previous, hands-on pack shed management experience (citrus or pome fruit preferred)
- Strong people leadership, coaching & workforce planning capability
- QA & food safety experience with audit confidence
- Familiarity with industry accreditations (SEDEX, Freshcare, HARPS, SQF, WHS)
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting & minor maintenance
- Confident communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments
