The Opportunity
Reporting to the National Market Development Manager, you'll lead market development activities across Western Australia and support South Australian operations where required.
This is a highly technical, customer-facing role, combining field trials, technical extension, product stewardship and industry engagement. While you won't carry a sales budget, your technical expertise will directly influence product adoption and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and managing demonstration, and market development field trials
- Presenting technical information to growers, agronomists and resellers
- Supporting new product launches and commercialisation of the R&D pipeline
- Translating trial results into practical agronomic recommendations
- Providing technical support on product performance and agronomic use
- Building trusted relationships with consultants, grower groups, researchers and industry influencers
- Gathering market intelligence to help shape future product development
You'll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Agronomy, Agricultural Science or similar
- An established network across resellers, agronomists and farm consultants
- Experience in agronomy, crop protection, field trials or market development
- Strong knowledge of broadacre cropping systems, particularly in WA
- Presentation skills and ability to clearly communicate technical information
- A collaborative approach and strong relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel throughout regional WA (approximately 30-50%)
