The Role
Lead and coordinate end-to-end citrus harvest operations to maximise yield, quality, and efficiency. Work closely with packhouse and logistics teams, and labour providers to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant harvest outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan harvest schedules and monitor crop maturity and weather.
- Manage labour, machinery, and transport logistics.
- Lead, train, and support harvest crews, including PALM workers.
- Run daily briefings and drive operational efficiencies.
- Maintain WHS, biosecurity, and environmental compliance.
- Oversee maintenance and safe use of harvest equipment.
About You
You’re a practical, people-focused leader with solid experience in harvest or farm management.
You’ll bring:
- 3–5+ years’ experience in farm or harvest management.
- Qualification in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or similar (or equivalent experience).
- ChemCert and current driver’s licence (HR preferred).
- Knowledge of crop production, machinery operation, and safety systems.
- Experience with GPS or farm management software.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
