Based in Horsham, you'll take ownership of grain procurement across the Wimmera/Western VIC region. You’ll build strong grower relationships, identify market opportunities, negotiate contracts and ensure AGT secures quality grain alongside strong commercial outcomes.
You'll work closely with AGT's National Procurement and Trade & Marketing teams, giving you exposure to the broader commercial and export side of the business.

What You’ll Do
- Build and manage long-term relationships with growers and suppliers
- Develop and execute grain procurement strategies within agreed commercial parameters
- Monitor markets, crop forecasts, supply and pricing to identify procurement opportunities
- Coordinate supply, logistics, storage and receivals
- Work closely with QA, Operations and Export teams
- Represent the AGT Foods at grower, industry and regional events
About You
You'll most likely be an experienced grain buyer, merchant, trader or agribusiness professional with:
- Sound knowledge of grain markets, pricing and contracting
- Strong commercial judgement and negotiation skills
- The ability to build trust and influence across a broad stakeholder group
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The resilience and flexibility to perform in the fast-moving harvest environment
A background in agriculture, grain or agribusiness is highly regarded.
