This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll be out in the operation, supporting the Farm Manager while building trust and credibility within an established, close-knit team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting crop production, irrigation, fertiliser programs, and pest control (IPM & bio-friendly methods)
- Leading and mentoring Supervisors, Workers, and Pickers to hit targets
- Driving a strong safety culture, WHS compliance, risk management, incident reporting, and training
- Maintaining QA accreditation and quality control standards
- Supporting the General Manager with harvest forecasts, KPI reporting, and budget tracking
- Building a positive, high-performing team culture
About You
- 5+ years' supervisory experience in banana farming (essential)
- Forklift licence, Chemicals Certification, and First Aid Certificate
- A hands-on leadership, with strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
- A commercially focused, continuous-improvement mindset
