We are seeking an experienced Farm Manager to oversee daily operations across 122 hectares of planted tropical fruit (mangoes, lychees, and limes). You’ll lead seasonal teams, coordinate crop management, and ensure the farm runs efficiently. The property includes a mechanic and irrigation specialist, plus an integrated nutrition and pest management plan.
What You’ll Do
- Lead farm operations and manage seasonal schedules
- Oversee crop management, including cultivation, pruning, and harvest
- Coordinate maintenance activities, supported by on-site staff
- Supervise seasonal staff to meet production goals
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality systems, and WHS regulations
About You
- Proven experience in farm management, ideally in tropical fruit production
- Strong knowledge of horticultural practices and orchard operations
- Understanding of food safety systems (e.g., Freshcare, HARPS, Sedex or Fair Farms.)
- Experience in workforce management, including seasonal labour
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- HR and Forklift licences (desirable)
